Roshan Sawera is a program based on the concept of the Adult Education System. It is an endeavour by Barkat TV in support of the Government of Pakistan’s target to eliminate illiteracy in Pakistan. A powerful and effective learning tool, as television is, this program is meant to eradicate the disparities based on gender, age group, socio-economic status and geography and to reach out to a large number of illiterate people who wish to learn to read and write Urdu.
